Earlier, the Yoon Seok-yeol administration held its first extraordinary Cabinet meeting at the Yongsan Presidential Office building the previous day and approved a supplementary budget bill totaling 59.4 trillion won, including 36.4 trillion won in central government expenditures and funds transferred to local governments. The core of the bill is to provide additional loss compensation payments ranging from 6 million to 10 million won to small business owners affected by COVID-19 quarantine measures.
