Coway Labor and Management Hold Wage Agreement Signing Ceremony

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Coway (CEO Lee Hae-sun and Seo Jang-won) announced on the morning of the 13th that it held the '2021 Wage Agreement Signing Ceremony' at Coway headquarters located in G Tower, Guro-gu, Seoul.
At this wage agreement signing ceremony, labor and management representatives, including Coway Vice Chairman Lee Hae-sun and Lee Hyun-chul, Chairman of the National Home Appliance Communication Service Labor Union, attended and jointly signed the 2021 wage agreement.
Coway began wage negotiations with the Coway branch (installation and AS technicians) and the CL branch (sales management positions) at the end of June last year, and reached a tentative agreement on April 21 this year. As a result of the union members' approval vote, the wage negotiations were finally settled with 76% approval from the Coway branch and 93% approval from the CL branch.
Coway labor and management promised to actively cooperate to secure sustainable future competitiveness through the establishment of an advanced win-win culture and to maximize customer value.
A Coway official said, "We will continue to strive to establish a healthy labor-management culture that allows mutual development between labor and management," adding, "We will also take the lead in providing better services through cooperation between labor and management to achieve common goals and do our best to enhance customer satisfaction."

Meanwhile, Coway and the Codicodak branch (special-type workers who conduct home visit inspections and sales) are currently conducting separate collective bargaining.
