[Asia Economy Sejong=Reporter Kwon Haeyoung] On the 13th, President Yoon Seok-yeol appointed Yoon Tae-sik, Director of the Taxation Office at the Ministry of Economy and Finance, as the new Commissioner of the Korea Customs Service while making new appointments for vice ministers and heads of ministries and agencies in the new government.
Yoon Tae-sik, the newly appointed Commissioner of the Korea Customs Service, was born in 1969 and graduated from Seoul National University with a degree in Business Administration. He entered public service by passing the 36th Administrative Examination and has held various positions including Director General of the International Finance Bureau, Director General of the Policy Coordination Bureau, Director General of International Economic Affairs, and Director of the Taxation Office at the Ministry of Economy and Finance.
