Incheon City Establishes Platform for Soil Environment and Noise Information Provision
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Hyesook] On the 13th, Incheon City announced that it has established a system on the city's Geographic Information System (GIS) platform that allows users to view soil environment and noise/vibration information at a glance.
Previously, soil environment and noise/vibration information were provided in document form, but the new system enables easy access to soil environment, noise, and vibration information by region on a map.
The Soil Environment Status app provides information such as the soil monitoring network within the region, results of soil pollution surveys over the past five years, installation status of facilities subject to specific soil pollution management, and orders for contaminated soil remediation.
The Noise and Vibration Environment Status app visualizes information such as the locations of manual and automatic noise monitoring networks and measurement results.
The city plans to continuously expand the provision of related data, including soil remediation companies and noise and vibration emission facilities.
