The First Regular General Meeting of the Jaehyang Firefighters Association Gyeonggi Southern Branch... 474 Members Active Across 24 Chapters
[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] The Gyeonggi Regional Retired Fire Officers Association, the Gyeonggi Southern Branch, held its first regular general meeting to discuss ways to revitalize the association.
The Gyeonggi Fire and Disaster Headquarters announced on the 13th that the Gyeonggi Southern Branch of the Retired Fire Officers Association held its regular general meeting in Anyang on the 12th.
At the regular general meeting, about 50 members, including Choi Byung-il, Head of the Gyeonggi Fire Headquarters, and Park Seong-bong, Head of the Gyeonggi Southern Branch of the Retired Fire Officers Association, exchanged opinions on ways to revitalize the association.
The Gyeonggi Branch of the Retired Fire Officers Association consists of a total of 35 branches with 652 members. Among them, the Gyeonggi Southern Branch has 24 branches with 474 active members.
Since Choi Byung-il took office as Head of the Gyeonggi Fire Headquarters, the association branches, which were installed in 14 fire stations in the province, have been expanded to all 35 fire stations, and various support measures are being prepared at the headquarters level.
Choi Byung-il, Head of the Gyeonggi Fire Headquarters, promised, "We are promoting the enactment of related ordinances in June to establish a basis for supporting association activities. We will also strive to operate the association more systematically by signing agreements with medical examination centers for health management after retirement."
