Pulmuone Resumes Operation of Kimchi Museum 'Museum Kimchikan'
[Asia Economy Reporter Song Seung-yoon] Pulmuone announced on the 13th that it will resume operations of the Kimchi Museum 'Museum Kimchikan' starting from the 17th.
Museum Kimchikan, Pulmuone's kimchi museum, had been closed since the COVID-19 pandemic and suspended offline program operations. Originally, Museum Kimchikan conducted kimchi-making experience programs and donation activities for children, multicultural families, and foreigners, but during the closure period, it only operated non-face-to-face activities through the 'Online Children's Kimchi School'.
Following quarantine guidelines, Museum Kimchikan plans to gradually resume exhibition viewing and experience activities. Until the end of next month, the museum will be open for visits from Tuesday to Saturday, and future operation schedules will be announced on the website.
To commemorate the reopening, an on-site event for visitors to Museum Kimchikan has been prepared. All visitors who come by the 31st of this month will receive a 50% discount on admission fees, and the first 300 paying visitors will be given an eco-friendly pouch with the Museum Kimchikan logo. Prior to reopening, a new special exhibition titled ‘The Four Seasons of Kimchi’ will also be unveiled. The special exhibition is set up on the 5th floor of Museum Kimchikan and is free for all museum visitors.
