The Bank of Korea Adjusts Dates of Monetary Policy Meetings in July and October Due to Governor's Business Trip Schedule
[Asia Economy Reporter Seo So-jung] The Monetary Policy Committee of the Bank of Korea announced on the 12th that it has decided to adjust the dates for the monetary policy meetings scheduled for July and October.
The monetary policy meeting originally scheduled for July 14 will be moved forward by one day to the 13th. This is because Lee Chang-yong, Governor of the Bank of Korea, will attend the G20 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors meeting held in Indonesia.

The October 14 monetary policy meeting will be moved forward to the 12th due to Governor Lee's schedule to attend the G20 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors meeting in the United States, as well as the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and World Bank Group (WBG) annual meetings.
