View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heeyoon] The Korea Tourism Organization announced on the 10th that it is recruiting 'Youth Festival On-site Trainees' to nurture young talents in the fields of culture, tourism, and festivals.
Selected trainees will be dispatched for four months to local governments or festival-dedicated organizations that host festivals, gaining practical experience in festival planning, operation, and promotion. During the training period, they will receive a certain level of salary and have access to expert consultations.
Any young person aged 19 to 34 interested in festivals can apply. A total of 30 people will be selected. Dispatch locations will be assigned considering the living conditions of the selected candidates. Recruitment for trainees will continue until the 27th.

Lee Kwangsoo, head of the Regional Content Team at the Korea Tourism Organization, said, “The festival project will serve as a bridge to connect outstanding young talents' diverse experiences gained on-site with future employment in the relevant fields.”
