On the 10th, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated in a spokesperson's comment, "We express deep concern over the terrorist attack that took place in the northern Sinai Peninsula, and extend our deepest condolences and sympathy to the victims, their families, and the people and government of Egypt."
It continued, "We reaffirm our firm stance that terrorism can never be justified for any reason," and emphasized, "We will actively participate in the international community's efforts for regional peace and stability, including the Multinational Force and Observers (MFO) in Sinai."
