NH Nonghyup Insurance Launches Two Types of Simplified Notification Health Insurance
[Asia Economy Reporter Changhwan Lee] NH Nonghyup Property & Casualty Insurance announced on the 10th that it has launched two types of comprehensive health insurance plans, (Non-Participating) NH335 Good Pass Health Insurance and (Non-Participating) NH335 Double Good Pass Health Insurance, which feature lower surcharge rates than existing insurance for policyholders with pre-existing conditions and include new coverages such as High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU) and anticancer radiation therapy.
Both products modify the disclosure requirements of existing simplified underwriting insurance, allowing individuals with mild pre-existing conditions to enroll at relatively lower premiums. Additionally, couples who enroll together receive a 2% discount on their respective coverage premiums.
The (Non-Participating) NH335 Good Pass Health Insurance allows enrollment by disclosing only whether there has been any doctor's opinion regarding hospitalization, surgery, or examination within the past 3 months; hospitalization or surgery due to illness or accident within the past 3 years; and diagnosis, hospitalization, or surgery for cancer, angina, myocardial infarction, heart valve disease, stroke (cerebral hemorrhage, cerebral infarction), or liver cirrhosis within the past 5 years.
Even if the customer has been hospitalized or undergone surgery within the past 3 years, they can enroll in the (Non-Participating) NH335 Double Good Pass Health Insurance if there has been no continuous hospitalization for 6 days or more or medication history for 30 days or more within the past 3 years.
Both products offer options such as non-surrender value refund type and renewable type, general underwriting and simplified underwriting, and the inclusion or exclusion of premium waiver benefits, allowing customers to select the product structure that best suits their needs.
