PrecisionBio Obtains European CE Certification for Cardiovascular Diagnostic Cartridge
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Gwanju] Precision Bio announced on the 9th that it has obtained European certification (CE) for its diagnostic cartridge ‘Exdia SOB,’ which can determine cardiovascular abnormalities through a patient's blood.
Exdia SOB quantitatively analyzes three types of biomarkers simultaneously in human whole blood or plasma, helping to quickly diagnose the causes of chest pain and shortness of breath due to cardiovascular diseases such as acute myocardial infarction (AMI1), congestive heart failure (CHF2), deep vein thrombosis (DVT3), and pulmonary embolism (PE4).
A Precision Bio official explained, "The SOB diagnostic cartridge, which measures three biomarkers simultaneously to diagnose cardiovascular abnormalities among causes of shortness of breath, was developed reflecting the needs of the European market."
