Ministry of Employment Seeks Excellent Workplace Safety and Health Cases... Video Contest Held
Ministry of Employment and Labor Hosts 'Workplace Safety and Health Activity Video Content Contest'
[Asia Economy Sejong=Reporter Lee Jun-hyung] The Ministry of Employment and Labor announced on the 8th that it will hold the 'Workplace Safety and Health Activity Video Content Contest' together with the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency. Through this contest, the Ministry plans to discover and spread excellent cases of safety and health activities in industrial sites.
The contest is open to industrial sites nationwide regardless of industry type. Participants can submit videos capturing activities that help establish workplace safety and health management systems or prevent industrial accidents. Only original videos directly filmed by the participants, with a duration of up to 5 minutes, are accepted.
The Ministry of Employment and Labor will select 13 works through expert evaluation. The participant who wins the grand prize will receive a cash prize of 2 million KRW and the Minister of Employment and Labor Award. Those who receive the excellence award will be given a cash prize of 1 million KRW and the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency President's Award.

The application period for the contest is until the 3rd of next month. The final selection results will be announced on the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency website on the 27th of next month. The Ministry plans to hold an awards ceremony at KINTEX in Ilsan, Gyeonggi Province, in early July during the Occupational Safety and Health Emphasis Week.
