Academy Bus Parked on a Slope Slips, Killing Driver in His 60s
[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Sehee] At around 5 p.m. on the 4th, an accident occurred in Junggok-dong, Gwangjin-gu, Seoul, where a driver was crushed and killed by a parked academy bus on a slope.
According to the Gwangjin Police Station and fire department, Mr. A (69) parked the vehicle on a slope and got off, but when the vehicle rolled downhill, he tried to stop it with his body and was involved in the accident. The vehicle continued to roll and collided with another passenger car coming from the opposite direction.
The bus then collided with another passenger car coming from the opposite direction, but there were no additional casualties.
