Pohang City Accelerates Toward Becoming a Hydrogen Hub City! ... Conducting Project for Korea Hydrogen Industry Association

On the 2nd, Pohang City held a project kickoff meeting attended by 15 people, including the Director of the Job and Economy Bureau, related department officials, the project executing agency, and advisory committee members.
At the meeting, the Korea Hydrogen Industry Association, the executing agency, presented ▲ the current status of the domestic and international hydrogen industry ▲ analysis of Pohang City's hydrogen industry status ▲ derivation of Pohang City's vision, goals, strategies, and core projects ▲ establishment of detailed project plans ▲ and a survey of Pohang citizens. They also took time to gather various opinions and suggestions from the attendees.
Through this project, the city plans to establish a basic concept and roadmap for fostering the hydrogen industry and review funding procurement and operational plans for this purpose.
In particular, the city will conduct a thorough analysis of ways to enhance synergy in the hydrogen industry by linking with projects such as the hydrogen fuel cell power generation cluster development project underway in the Pohang Blue Valley National Industrial Complex and the hydrogen fuel cell certification center advancement project.
