Korea Airports Corporation Receives Award for Excellence in Ethical Management Practices
[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Hyun-seok] Korea Airports Corporation announced on the 2nd that it won 2nd place overall and the Excellence Award in the '2nd Ethical Management Practice Outstanding Institution Contest' held in accordance with the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission's Clean Society Agreement.
This contest began in 2020 through an agreement between the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission, the Korea Institute for Industrial Policy Studies, and the YoonKyung ESG Forum. The corporation was selected as an outstanding institution by receiving high evaluations in the 'Establishment of a Core Risk Management System to Prevent Conflicts of Interest' category.
Yoon Hyung-jung, President of Korea Airports Corporation, explained, "Korea Airports Corporation eliminates corruption risks that may arise during job activities and complies with laws to spread a culture of clean ethical management," adding, "We will become an institution infinitely trusted by the public through systematic ethical management practices."

Ahead of the enforcement of the Conflict of Interest Prevention Act this year, the corporation conducted the establishment of an ethical management system for conflict of interest prevention, system introduction, and risk analysis. It achieved first place for two consecutive years in the public enterprise group in the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission's integrity evaluation. It is also recognized as a leading ethical management institution, having achieved the first 'AA grade' among public institutions in the Fair Trade Commission's Fair Trade Compliance Program evaluation.
