Kolon FnC Laecord collaborates with Tommy Jeans to unveil upcycling collection
[Asia Economy Reporter Song Seung-yoon] Kolon Industries FnC Division announced on the 2nd that the upcycling-based fashion brand 'RECODE' is launching the 'RECODE by TOMMY JEANS' collection in collaboration with Hansome, a fashion specialist company, and its global brand 'Tommy Jeans.'
Since its launch in 2012, RECODE has focused on promoting the value of upcycling fashion and sustainability through collaborations with various brands and artists. Tommy Jeans is expanding its recycled items, planning 90% of its 22SS season collection as sustainability items.
This collection uses Tommy Jeans' surplus T-shirts as materials. It features RECODE's distinctive deconstructive design made more accessible. Inspired by absolutist painting, which mainly expresses pure geometric forms, it presents a relaxed and simple silhouette. A total of 10 new products were created, including 8 women's wear items such as T-shirts, blouses, and dresses, and 2 hair accessories. The collection combines Tommy Jeans' signature white, black, and navy colors with RECODE's blue color. All products are produced as limited editions.
Sales will be conducted both online and offline, with RECODE's flagship store Series Corner Hannam branch and Hansome's online select shop EQL starting sales from the 2nd, and Kolon Mall from the 9th.
