According to the Nomination Management Committee of the Gangwon Province Party of the People Power Party (Chairman Lee Yang-su) on the 1st, the primary election results for each region are as follows: ▲Chuncheon Choi Seong-hyun ▲Wonju Won Gang-su ▲Gangneung Kim Hong-gyu ▲Taebaek Lee Sang-ho ▲Sokcho Lee Byung-seon ▲Samcheok Park Sang-su ▲Hongcheon Shin Young-jae ▲Cheorwon Lee Hyun-jong ▲Yeongwol Choi Myung-seo ▲Pyeongchang Shim Jae-guk ▲Jeongseon Hong Cheon-sik ▲Yanggu Seo Heung-won ▲Inje Lee Soon-seon ▲Goseong Hong Nam-gi candidates won the primaries.
In four locations?Donghae Shim Kyu-eon, Hoengseong Kim Myung-gi, Hwacheon Choi Moon-soon, and Yangyang Kim Jin-ha?candidates were recommended unopposed.
