Mariupol Council: Number of Civilians Killed by Russian Troops More Than Twice That of Nazis
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] The Mariupol City Council announced on the 1st (local time) that the number of civilians killed by Russian forces in Mariupol, southern Ukraine, is more than twice the number of civilians killed by the Nazis.
The Mariupol City Council issued a statement through its Telegram channel on the same day, claiming, "Over the past two months, Russian forces have killed more than twice the number of civilians in Mariupol than Nazi Germany did during World War II."
The Mariupol City Council stated, "The Nazis killed 10,000 civilians in Mariupol over two years," and "The Russian invaders have killed more than 20,000 Mariupol residents in just two months." It added, "More than 40,000 Mariupol residents have been forcibly displaced."
