Hwasun-gun Recruiting Participants for the 'Youth Hope Stepping Stone Savings Account Project'
[Hwasun=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Ji-woon] Jeollanam-do Hwasun-gun announced on the 29th that it will recruit candidates for the ‘2022 Youth Hope Stepping Stone Savings Account Project’ from the 2nd to the 20th of next month.
Started in 2017, the ‘Youth Hope Stepping Stone Savings Account’ is a project to support young people’s economic independence and preparation for a stable future.
If eligible youth save ‘100,000 KRW monthly for 3 years, totaling 3.6 million KRW,’ Hwasun-gun and Jeollanam-do will match the amount (3.6 million KRW) to support a ‘Self-Reliance Support Savings Account.’
At the end of the 3-year maturity period, the total savings of 7.2 million KRW plus interest will be paid out.
This year, Hwasun-gun’s new support scale is 40 people.
Eligible applicants are ▲workers aged 18 to 39 residing in the county (born between April 28, 1982, and April 27, 2004) or business owners in the province ▲those with at least 3 months of work experience within the last 6 months, or business owners who have operated a business for at least 3 months after opening more than 6 months ago ▲and youth whose household income is below 120% of the median income.
Applicants must meet all three conditions as of the announcement date (April 27) to apply.
However, those who have received similar savings account support from the national or local governments are excluded.
Applications can be submitted by visiting the administrative welfare center in the applicant’s town or township or by registered mail.
