[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Hyun-seok] Renault Korea Motors announced on the 28th that it held the ‘2022 Partner Conference’ to seek active cooperation from partners for the development of eco-friendly new vehicles and to award outstanding partners.
At the '2022 Partner Conference' held the previous day at the Paradise Hotel in Busan, attended by representatives from over 150 partner companies, Renault Korea Motors explained the progress of Renault Group's Renaulution management strategy and the group's mid- to long-term plans. The event also provided an opportunity to share Renault Korea Motors' performance and management plans.
Renault Korea Motors comforted its partners who had a difficult year due to various external issues such as COVID-19. In particular, this partner conference added significance as a pledge for Renault Korea Motors and its partners to prepare together for the full-fledged eco-friendly vehicle era, starting with hybrid vehicles. Renault Korea Motors requested partners to work together to secure eco-friendly and advanced technological competitiveness in the development of eco-friendly new vehicle models scheduled for release in 2024, thereby increasing the localization rate of parts.
At the awards ceremony for the ‘2021 Partner of the Year’ that concluded the event, six outstanding partners who made significant contributions to Renault Korea Motors' research and development and production last year were recognized in five categories. The ‘Win-Win Cooperation Award’ went to Sinhung Kigong, the ‘Research & Development (R&D) Award’ to SL, the ‘Quality Award’ to Packard Korea, the ‘Parts Performance Award’ to Dijens and Asan, and the ‘Service & Facility Performance Award’ to Eunsan Shipping & Aviation.
