Shinil Electronics Holds Special Exhibition Nationwide at Emart, Selling 'Portable Air Conditioners'
[Asia Economy Reporter Kwak Min-jae] Shinil Electronics will hold a special event at Emart stores nationwide starting on the 21st to sell 'portable air conditioners.'
According to Shinil, sales of portable air conditioners have increased by approximately 375% compared to the same period last year as of the 19th. This is interpreted as a result of increased demand for cooling appliances due to the early heatwave.
Shinil's portable air conditioners offer powerful cooling as well as dehumidifying functions, providing a twofold benefit. They are easy to move and do not require as much installation space as window-type air conditioners, making them ideal for single-person rooms or offices.
The cooling area is 26.4m² (approximately 8 pyeong). The wind speed can be adjusted in three stages: cooling wind, ventilation, and automatic wind. The unit features a detachable, separable dust filter that removes dust and foreign substances from indoor air, delivering clean air, according to the company.

A Shinil representative said, “With daytime temperatures recently exceeding 20 degrees Celsius and early summer weather continuing, there has been a noticeable increase in consumers looking for cooling devices for personal spaces. We hope this special event will be a good opportunity for customers preparing to beat the heat ahead of the full summer season.”
