Seven Eleven Provides Relief Supplies to Underprivileged Groups in Uljin Area
[Asia Economy Reporter Jeon Jinyoung] Seven Eleven is providing relief supplies to help restore the daily lives of marginalized groups in the Uljin area, which is struggling due to a large-scale wildfire.
According to the industry on the 22nd, Seven Eleven, in collaboration with the Gyeongsangbuk-do Regional Food Bank and the Foundation for Cooperation between Large, Small, and Medium Enterprises in Agriculture and Fisheries, is sponsoring about 11,000 food items worth approximately 12 million KRW, including instant rice and beverages, to marginalized groups in the Uljin area of Gyeongbuk recently affected by the large wildfire. This support was planned to encourage the swift recovery of daily life for marginalized groups in the Uljin area severely damaged by the large wildfire.
Earlier in March, Seven Eleven delivered food items such as cup noodles and bottled water, as well as disaster relief funds voluntarily collected by store owners and employees, to comfort the residents of the Uljin area in Gyeongbuk. They plan to continue sharing activities for the victims of the Uljin large wildfire, including additional support for daily necessities.
