Jeongeup-si to Conduct 'Jeonbuk Social Survey' Starting from the 12th
[Jeongeup=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Jaegil] Jeongeup City, Jeollabuk-do announced on the 11th that it will conduct the "2022 Jeollabuk-do Social Survey" from the 12th to the 27th.
The social survey is conducted annually to understand the quality of life of citizens and changes in social structure, and to use it as basic data for regional policy development and research.
This year marks the 16th time the social survey is being conducted, jointly promoted by Jeollabuk-do and Jeongeup City.
The survey targets 1,005 households sampled from those residing in Jeongeup City, focusing on household heads and members aged 15 or older.
The survey covers 47 items in 6 areas: ▲Household and Family (9 items) ▲Income and Consumption (5 items) ▲Employment and Labor Relations (5 items) ▲Welfare (7 items) ▲Social Participation (7 items) ▲Provincial Characteristics (9 items) and Jeongeup City Characteristics (5 items).
The survey method is primarily face-to-face interviews, where surveyors visit each household and meet the respondents directly.
However, if face-to-face is difficult, a method where respondents fill out the questionnaire themselves and return it is also conducted concurrently.
The survey results will be announced in December this year after internal review and analysis by Jeollabuk-do and Jeongeup City, followed by analysis by a professional institution. The data will be made available on the Jeongeup City website in the form of statistical data.
A city official said, "Personal information collected under Article 33 (Protection of Confidentiality) of the Statistics Act is strictly protected and will not be used for purposes other than statistical compilation, so we ask for active cooperation when surveyors visit."
