Yeonggwang-gun Installs 'Unmanned Parking Control System'... Providing Convenience for Visitors
[Yeonggwang=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Jeonseong] Yeonggwang-gun, Jeollanam-do announced on the 8th that it will install an 'Unmanned Parking Control System' in the county office parking lot to provide convenience for visitors.
This project was implemented to facilitate parking circulation for vehicles visiting the county office and to solve parking and stopping issues for visitors.
The unmanned parking control system is an intelligent vehicle fee collection system that automatically recognizes the vehicle number upon entry and exit, calculating parking time and fees. Payment can be made by credit, debit, check card, Samsung Pay, or cash.
The county plans to complete the installation by the end of this month, operate it as a pilot while supplementing issues and enacting management ordinances until July, and then fully operate it starting in August.
A county official said, "We hope this project will allow visitors to come to the county office with as little inconvenience as possible."
