Jeonbuk Province Launches Renovation Project for Public Health Medical Institutions
Jeonbuk Maumsarang Hospital to Invest a Total of 4.5 Billion KRW by This Year in Namwon and Gochang Elderly Care Hospitals
[Jeonju=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Han-ho] Jeollabuk-do announced on the 8th that it will promote a renovation project for public health care institutions used by vulnerable groups this year to provide high-quality medical services to residents.
The target institutions are Jeollabuk-do Maumsarang Hospital and Jeollabuk-do Namwon and Gochang Nursing Hospitals for the Elderly.
These hospitals have experienced issues such as decreased insulation due to aging, condensation and mold occurrence, and the spread of fine dust.
First, Jeollabuk-do Maumsarang Hospital completed the installation of high-efficiency windows, heat recovery ventilation systems, and high-efficiency heating and cooling equipment by investing 1.1 billion KRW.
Additionally, 3.4 billion KRW (1.8 billion KRW for Namwon, 1.6 billion KRW for Gochang) will be invested in Namwon and Gochang Nursing Hospitals for the Elderly to improve the energy performance and environment of the aging hospitals by the end of this year.
For Namwon Nursing Hospital for the Elderly, external insulation, windows, heat recovery ventilation systems, and high-efficiency heating and cooling equipment will be installed.
For Gochang Nursing Hospital for the Elderly, internal and external insulation reinforcement work, high-efficiency heating and cooling equipment, renewable energy, and cool roofs will be installed.
