Shilla Stay Presents Special Buffet Featuring Seasonal Spring Ingredients
Menus Using Spring Ingredients Like Naengi, Dallae, and Jjukkumi
Adding Seasonal Ingredients to Korean, Western, and Chinese Dishes
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Yuri] Shilla Stay buffet restaurant 'Cafe(caf?)' announced on the 8th that it will offer a chef-recommended spring special buffet menu until the 15th of next month.
The newly introduced spring special menu incorporates seasonal ingredients into Korean, Chinese, and Western dishes. 'Naengi Jjamppong' and 'Naengi Barley Risotto,' which use shepherd's purse (naengi), add a refreshing flavor to the otherwise ordinary jjamppong and risotto, creating dishes well-suited for the spring season. 'Naengi Jjamppong' is available at Gwanghwamun, and 'Naengi Barley Risotto' can be found at Seocho and Mapo.
There is also 'Dallae Muchim,' made with wild chive (dallae), known for its unique texture and aroma as a representative spring ingredient. Containing components that help restore energy, dallae is a seasonal ingredient ideal for recovering from fatigue and recharging energy on drowsy spring days. This menu is offered at Dongtan, Cheonan, and Seobusan.
Spring vegetable pasta and salad are also prepared. The 'Spring Vegetable Pasta' features seven kinds of spring vegetables combined with pasta to enhance its fragrance, while the 'Spring Vegetable Sirloin Salad,' served with chamnamul, saebalnamul, and bangpungnamul, blends the fresh taste of the vegetables with the mild flavor of sirloin to provide a deeper taste experience. 'Spring Vegetable Pasta' is available at Yeoksam, and 'Spring Vegetable Sirloin Salad' can be found at Haeundae.
The 'Jjukkumi Special Menu,' featuring various dishes reflecting the chef's experience, is prepared at Gwanghwamun, Seodaemun, Mapo, Samsung, and Guro.
