The donation will be used for rehabilitation treatment costs for 20 children and adolescents with disabilities, psychological treatment and education expenses for 25 non-disabled siblings, among other purposes. Twenty families receiving support from the Purme Foundation will be selected and invited to the 'Family Trip with Hyosung.'
Through this sponsorship, Hyosung hopes not only for the physical and mental recovery of growing children and adolescents with disabilities but also for increased psychological stability and self-development opportunities for non-disabled siblings who have been relatively neglected due to their disabled siblings.
Hyosung Chairman Cho Hyun-joon said, "We will continue to provide steady support so that there are no gaps in the treatment of children and adolescents with disabilities and their families amid the prolonged COVID-19 situation."
