The aim is to timely repair various road facilities whose functions have deteriorated due to repeated freezing and thawing caused by snow and ice during the winter, and to create a pleasant road environment.
The province, cities, and counties will cooperate to inspect the condition of delegated national roads, local national roads, provincial roads, and city and county roads within the province.
Road facilities that have lost their original function due to damage and deformation caused by last winter will be repaired, and sediment accumulated in road drainage systems will be removed in preparation for heavy rains and typhoons this summer.
While repairing damaged road surfaces, the cracks and safety conditions of major structures such as bridges and tunnels will also be checked.
Obstacles along roadsides and slopes will be removed and cleaned, and slopes and mountain ridge drainage areas that are difficult to access, such as rockfall and landslide risk zones, will be intensively maintained.
