Professor Kim Gwonyoung of Chosun University Hospital Donates 10 Million Won for New Hospital Construction
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Chosun University Hospital (Director Kim Kyungjong) announced that Professor Kim Kwonyoung of the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine donated 10 million KRW to the development fund for the construction of the new hospital.
The donation ceremony was attended by hospital executives including Vice Director Lim Donghoon and heads of various medical departments.
Professor Kim said, "I wanted to contribute even a little to the construction of the new hospital," and added, "I hope this donation relay for the construction fund will continue."
Currently serving as the head of the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine at Chosun University Hospital, Professor Kim has actively contributed to the development of regional medicine through his roles as Director of the Honam Regional Rehabilitation Hospital, Director of the Korean Academy of Rehabilitation Medicine and Head of the Honam-Jeju Branch, Director of the Korean Society for Developmental Disabilities, and Vice President of the Honam Branch of the Korean Geriatrics Society.
