NCSoft Recruits Seoul National University Professor Lee Jehee as Chief Research Officer
[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] NCSoft announced on the 6th a new executive appointment, bringing in Vice President Jaehui Lee as Chief Research Officer (CRO).
This personnel move aims to expand human resource investment in next-generation advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI) and digital humans, and to elevate research and development (R&D) to a global level to discover mid- to long-term growth engines.
CRO Jaehui Lee has been a professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Seoul National University since 2003 and is a leading scholar in computer graphics and animation.
He has published world-class research results in physics-based motion control, data-driven motion learning and generation, and realistic human modeling, and has served as president of the Korea Computer Graphics Society and chair of the SIGGRAPH Asia 2022 Technical Papers committee.
