Korail Gwangju Jeonnam Headquarters Supports Overcoming Blood Supply Shortage Through Love Blood Donation
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Jin-hyung] Korea Railroad (KORAIL) Gwangju Jeonnam Headquarters Volunteer Group announced on the 31st that they held a blood donation event using blood donation buses at the plazas of Suncheon Station, Gwangju Station, and Mokpo Station.
The event was organized by the Korea Railroad Gwangju Jeonnam Headquarters and the Korean Red Cross Gwangju Jeonnam Blood Center to alleviate the difficulties in blood supply caused by the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic and to practice love for neighbors.
Additionally, this blood donation event was held at the station plazas to allow participation from employees and railroad passengers.
The blood collected through the event will be delivered to the Korean Red Cross Central Blood Center and supplied to domestic medical institutions urgently in need of blood support.
