US Imposes Additional Sanctions Related to Iranian Missiles
[Asia Economy New York=Special Correspondent Joselgina] The U.S. administration under Joe Biden has added key figures involved in Iran's ballistic missile development and four companies to the sanctions list.
According to the U.S. Department of the Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) on the 30th (local time), the sanctions target includes military contractor Mohammad Ali Hoseini, based in Iran, and three companies he directly or indirectly owns. Additionally, Iran's chemical company Parkin Chemical Industry was newly added to the sanctions list.

The Treasury Department explained, "This action is in response to Iran's missile attack on Erbil, Iraq on the 13th and the Houthi rebels' bombing of Saudi Arabia's state-owned oil company Aramco's oil storage facilities on the 25th."
