According to the association on the 30th, the new president Jeon earned a bachelor's degree in economics from Seoul National University and a Ph.D. in economics from Pennsylvania State University in the United States. He has served as a specialist member of the Fiscal Taxation Committee of the Government Innovation and Decentralization Committee (2005-2007), an evaluation member of the Fund Management Evaluation Group (2003-2007), a specialist member of the Fiscal Statistics Committee of the Social Security Committee (2016-2018), and a research fellow at the Korea Institute of Public Finance (1995-2002).
