KAMCO Signs Research Cooperation Agreement in the Public Sector with Dong-A University
Promotion of Strengthened Academic Exchange to Expand Research Collaboration Areas and Build Networks
[Asia Economy Reporter Sim Nayoung] Korea Asset Management Corporation (KAMCO) signed an 'Industry-Academia Cooperation Agreement for Promoting Joint Research in the Public Sector' with Dong-A University at the main building of Dong-A University on the 30th. Under this agreement, both institutions agreed to mutually cooperate in ▲joint discovery of research cooperation projects for innovation in the public sector ▲joint research to strengthen the competitiveness of both institutions ▲building a sustainable cooperative relationship through research and consultation.
This agreement was promoted to share and research academic information on KAMCO's public projects between the two institutions to create joint achievements. Additionally, through this agreement, KAMCO plans to establish an industry-academia cooperation network based on the local community as a public institution relocated to Busan.
To expand the industry-academia cooperation research network, KAMCO plans to implement research cooperation programs targeting Inha University (Incheon) in the first half of 2022 and Pukyong National University (Busan) in the second half of the year.
Kwon Nam-joo, President of KAMCO, said, "So far, KAMCO has shown great interest in industry-academia cooperation projects for mutual growth with local universities in line with the government's regional balanced development policy. We will continuously strive to ensure that this agreement becomes a successful case where innovation in the public sector and the co-growth of public institutions and local universities are established."

KAMCO plans to hold an expert roundtable in April on the theme of creating a sound public auction market and will make efforts to build a 'sound public auction market platform' by exploring cooperation methods with various stakeholders.
