Mayor Jun Nak-yeong of Gyeongju City is communicating with residents through an 'Open Communication Meeting.'
View original image[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yeo Jong-gu] Mayor Ju Nak-young of Gyeongju held an 'Open Communication Meeting' to strengthen communication with citizens.
Starting from Seonggeon-dong on the 14th, Mayor Ju has been continuing meetings in 19 eup, myeon, and dong areas.
The meetings, which conclude on the 30th, have seen about 2,000 citizens participate so far, with around 100 people attending each session.
At every communication meeting, Mayor Ju personally reported major project achievements to residents and engaged in communication time.
During each meeting, residents have presented various opinions to the mayor, ranging from small neighborhood matters to suggestions on city administration.
In eup and myeon areas, main topics included expansion and paving of farm roads and village paths, installation of village sewage treatment facilities, and maintenance of convenience facilities.
In dong areas, proposals were made regarding parking measures, road and environmental maintenance, tourism, and other local pending projects.
