View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Kwak Minjae] The Small Enterprise and Market Service (SEMAS) announced on the 29th that it held a business agreement ceremony at the Daejeon SEMAS headquarters with research institutions in the Chungcheong region to revitalize small businesses and local commercial districts.
The ceremony was attended by major specialized research institutions in the Daejeon, Sejong, and Chungcheong areas, including the Daejeon Sejong Research Institute, Chungbuk Research Institute, and Chungnam Research Institute. The agreement includes joint research and mutual research consultation, co-hosting academic seminars and forums, sharing basic information (such as big data) held by each institution, and personnel and material exchanges.
SEMAS plans to form a working council with two members from each institution and hold meetings quarterly to discuss practical matters. Through this agreement, SEMAS expects to expand research and enhance expertise in the field of small businesses and local commercial districts by utilizing the operational resources, capabilities, and accumulated experience possessed by each institution.
