Suwon City 'Creating Good Habits to Reduce Food Waste' Campaign... Until July
[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] Suwon City in Gyeonggi Province will carry out a campaign called 'Creating Good Habits to Reduce Food Waste' until July.
On the 28th, Suwon City announced that public officials and the 'Housewives Monitoring Group for Reducing Food Waste' will promote methods to reduce food waste and guidelines for disposing of food waste on the streets over a total of eight sessions.
The city held its first campaign on the 25th in the Ingye-dong area of Suwon.
The habits for reducing food waste prepared by the city include ▲ making a shopping list before shopping ▲ using transparent containers when storing ingredients in the refrigerator ▲ regularly organizing the refrigerator ▲ removing foreign substances and squeezing out moisture before disposal ▲ rinsing and disposing of sauces and kimchi, among others.
