View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heeyoon] The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism announced on the 24th that it will live stream the '2022 International Cultural Exchange Support Project Joint Briefing Session' online in collaboration with five organizations: the Sejong Institute Foundation, the Arts Management Support Center, the Korea Craft and Design Foundation, the Korea Foundation for International Cultural Exchange, and the Arts Council Korea.
This year, along with establishing the implementation plan for promoting international cultural exchange, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism set three main directions: ▲strategic and systematic promotion of international cultural exchange ▲activation of exchanges utilizing key occasions such as diplomatic relations ▲strengthening responses to COVID-19 and the Fourth Industrial Revolution, and announced plans to invest a total of 229.3 billion KRW in 103 international cultural exchange projects.
The briefing session will be held at 1:30 PM on the same day. It will comprehensively provide information on the 33 support projects from the five organizations, including details on targets, budget scale, application periods, and application methods. Anyone interested can participate through the Korea Foundation for International Cultural Exchange’s YouTube channel.
Support projects by organization include: ▲Sejong Institute Foundation’s 3 projects such as 'Dispatch of Korean Language Teachers Abroad' ▲Arts Management Support Center’s 18 projects such as 'Support for Overseas Advancement of Korean Traditional Music' ▲Korea Craft and Design Foundation’s 2 projects such as 'Support for Participation in Overseas Exhibitions' ▲Korea Foundation for International Cultural Exchange’s 6 projects such as 'Cultural Companion Project' ▲Arts Council Korea’s 4 projects such as 'Support for Artists’ Overseas Residencies.'
