On the 24th (Korean time), the U.S. media outlet Variety reported that Kang Dong-won signed a contract with CAA, the largest agency in the United States. His agency YG Entertainment also confirmed, "It is true that the contract has been signed."
CAA, one of the top three entertainment and sports agencies in the U.S., represents Brad Pitt, Tom Hanks, Meryl Streep, and George Clooney, and recently signed contracts with Lee Jung-jae and Jung Ho-yeon from "Squid Game."

Kang Dong-won completed filming "Tsunami LA," directed by Scott Mann, in 2019, and will officially debut in Hollywood once the work is released. Additionally, he is preparing for the release of "Broker," the new film by director Hirokazu Kore-eda, which won the Palme d'Or at the 71st Cannes Film Festival in 2018.
