Incheon International Airport Hosts Special Performance to Celebrate 21st Anniversary of Opening
[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Hyun-seok] Incheon International Airport Corporation announced on the 23rd that it will hold a special performance to celebrate the 21st anniversary of Incheon Airport's opening on the 29th at the central Millennium Hall of Terminal 1.
To mark the 21st anniversary of Incheon Airport's opening, the corporation prepared this performance to comfort airport workers who have steadfastly maintained their posts during the two years of the COVID-19 pandemic and to deliver an encouraging message to overcome the challenges together until the end.
Under the theme "That year, we heard this song at the airport," the performance carries a hopeful message that when looking back after the pandemic is over, the songs heard at the airport that year will remind us that difficult moments eventually pass and become cherished memories.
The event will be hosted by actor Jung Sang-hoon. The alternative pop band Ilanji, known for their addictive dance music, and Ambiguous Dance Company, famous for their unique choreography, will present a fresh and energetic joint performance. Additionally, top-tier domestic artists such as singer Punch, who captivates audiences with her distinctive voice and emotional delivery, will fill the Millennium Hall with their performances.
The performance will last about an hour, starting at 4 p.m. on the 29th. Anyone visiting the Millennium Hall in Terminal 1 can watch the show for free while adhering to basic COVID-19 prevention guidelines.
Meanwhile, 50 seats will be preferentially offered to airport resident employees through a story submission event. Entries can be submitted via the KakaoTalk Resident Support channel until the day of the event.
