Krafton Signs Blockchain and NFT Business Agreement with 'Solana'
[Asia Economy Reporter Kang Nahum] Krafton announced on the 23rd that it has signed a business agreement with the blockchain company ‘Solana’ for blockchain and non-fungible token (NFT) game services.
Through this agreement, the two companies have decided to establish a long-term cooperative relationship for the development and operation of NFT games and services based on the ‘Solana’ blockchain. They will collaborate on various blockchain technology-related areas including blockchain game marketing and design, and have also agreed on joint investment cooperation to explore investment opportunities in the blockchain sector together.
Solana is a decentralized blockchain designed to enable scalable and user-friendly app development. It is one of the world’s leading high-performance blockchains, providing predictable scaling solutions without compromising security or composability.
Solana’s performance is driven by a single ‘global state’ capable of processing tens of thousands of smart contracts at once, and a decentralized clock called ‘Proof of History’ that offers low latency and finality in under one second.
A Krafton representative said, "Through this collaboration, we plan to acquire insights and know-how related to integrating blockchain into games to accelerate our business development."
