[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] Dongwon F&B announced on the 23rd that it has launched ‘Grilly,’ a direct-fire ham brand that is twice grilled in an oven and on a grill to impart a rich smoky flavor. Dongwon F&B plans to lead the rapidly growing direct-fire ham market and target the next-generation refrigerated ham market through Grilly.
Dongwon F&B plans to expand the Grilly product line to include various refrigerated hams such as square ham, frankfurter, chicken breast, and bacon. Through this, the company aims to grow Grilly into a brand worth approximately 50 billion KRW this year. Grilly is characterized by pork or chicken meat that is cold-aged and twice grilled?first in an oven at 250℃~300℃ and then on a direct-fire grill at 500℃?to achieve rich juices and a deep smoky flavor.
