SK Magic's 'Borderless Induction' Wins Red Dot Design Award
The Grand Slam of the Four Major International Design Awards
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] SK Magic (CEO Yoon Yo-seop) announced on the 22nd that it has won the main prize in the product design category for nine consecutive years at Germany's '2022 Red Dot Design Award,' one of the world's top three design awards.
The awarded product, the 'Borderless Induction,' received the CES Innovation Award at the world's largest electronics exhibition, '2021 CES,' even before its release, gaining international recognition for its design and technology. With this award, the Borderless Induction has swept the world's four major design awards: Germany's iF, Red Dot, the United States' IDEA, and Japan's Good Design Award.
The Borderless Induction features the ability to use 3400W of power anywhere within the cooking zone, allowing various dishes to be prepared quickly. In particular, by eliminating the boundaries between burners, it enables more flexible cooking even with large-capacity cookware.
