Netmarble Chairman Bang Jun-hyuk Received 1.399 Billion KRW in Compensation Last Year

[Asia Economy Reporter Kang Nahum] Bang Junhyuk, Chairman of the Board of Netmarble and Coway, received a total compensation of 1,399 million KRW last year.
According to Netmarble's 2021 business report released on the 21st, Chairman Bang received a total of 1,399 million KRW, including a salary of 1,388 million KRW and other labor income of 11 million KRW. This amount decreased by about 40% compared to the previous year, when he received 2,366 million KRW.
Netmarble explained that Chairman Bang's compensation "reflects a comprehensive consideration of position (Chairman of the Board), leadership, expertise, company contribution, raise rate, and industry standards."
Netmarble CEO Kwon Youngsik received a total of 1,193 million KRW, including a salary of 538 million KRW, bonuses of 630 million KRW, and other labor income of 25 million KRW. President Lee Seungwon received a total of 870 million KRW, including a salary of 420 million KRW, bonuses of 84 million KRW, stock option exercise gains of 286 million KRW, and other labor income of 17 million KRW.
