According to the Jeju Coast Guard on the 20th, at around 7:51 a.m. that day, a report was received that a person appeared to be lying dead on the white sand near Hamdeok Beach in Jocheon-eup, Jeju City.
The body was dressed in a black jumper, black long pants, and gray sneakers, and showed signs of rigor mortis, with muscles stiffened.
According to the Coast Guard investigation, the body was identified as a man in his 20s with an address in Gyeongnam.
The body was placed in the morgue of a hospital in Jeju City.
