[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Sehee] A man in his 30s who stole about 300 million won worth of valuables from a parked car owned by an acquaintance was caught by the police.
According to the police on the 19th, the Gangnam Police Station in Seoul arrested Mr. A, a man in his 30s, on the 17th on suspicion of theft.
Mr. A is accused of stealing valuables worth 310 million won from an acquaintance's car parked on a roadside in Samseong-dong, Gangnam-gu on January 28. He drove away the car while the acquaintance briefly got out, took the valuables, abandoned the car, and fled.
The police, who were tracking Mr. A, arrested him in Seoul around 10 p.m. on the 15th, about two months after the crime.

A police official stated, "Mr. A is currently denying the charges," and added, "We are investigating the detailed circumstances of the case."
