Ulsan Ulju-gun, 16 Facilities Violating Environmental Pollutant Emission Regulations Detected
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Dongguk Lee] Ulsan Ulju-gun inspected 193 facilities emitting environmental pollutants in the area last month and identified 16 violating businesses.
The inspection targeted a total of 193 companies: ▲96 for air quality management ▲66 for water quality management ▲31 for resource circulation.
As a result of the inspection, violations were found at a total of 16 sites: ▲8 for violations of the Air Environment Conservation Act ▲2 for violations of the Act on the Management and Use of Livestock Manure ▲3 for violations of the Waste Management Act ▲3 for violations of the Construction Waste Act.
The county plans to impose administrative measures such as improvement orders, judicial actions, and fines on the violating facilities.
