The welfare association presented the plaque in recognition of the continuous support it has received from Kumho Petrochemical.
Park Chan-gu, Chairman of Kumho Petrochemical, said, "We will not be complacent with past achievements and will actively engage in ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) activities going forward."
Kumho Petrochemical has been providing regular support to the welfare association annually since 2007. Until before the COVID-19 pandemic, Chairman Park Chan-gu and employees at the headquarters visited the welfare association to participate in volunteer activities such as caregiving and cleaning, as well as donating 'Kkeutjeon Seonggeum' (small change donations). The Kkeutjeon Seonggeum is a fund created by collecting amounts less than 1,000 won from employees' monthly salaries since 1991, with the purpose of turning small contributions into significant help.
