Rain will begin in the morning in the Yeongdong region of Gangwon Province, spreading in the afternoon to the Chungcheong area, southern regions, and Jeju Island, and expanding nationwide by night. Rain or snow is expected in Gangwon Province and the northern part of Gyeongbuk.
Expected precipitation amounts are 10?30 mm in Jeju Island, 5?10 mm along the eastern coast of Yeongdong in Gangwon and northern Gyeongbuk, and around 5 mm in other parts of the country. Snowfall of 1?5 cm is expected in the mountainous areas of Gangwon and northeastern mountainous areas of Gyeongbuk.
Morning low temperatures are forecasted to be between 0 and 11 degrees Celsius, and daytime highs between 6 and 18 degrees Celsius.
Fine dust levels will be 'Good' to 'Moderate' across all regions.
However, the Chungcheong and Honam regions are expected to temporarily reach 'Bad' levels in the morning.
There will be many places with fog over the Yellow Sea, the South Sea, and the seas around Jeju Island.
Winds will be very strong and waves very high across all seas, so vessels engaged in navigation or fishing should exercise caution. There may be thunder and lightning in the distant southern seas of Jeju Island.
Wave heights will be 0.5?3.0 meters in the East Sea and South Sea coastal waters, and 0.5?2.0 meters in the Yellow Sea coastal waters.
