Danal Reports Operating Profit of 15.9 Billion KRW Last Year, Up 6.6% Year-on-Year
[Asia Economy Reporter Myung-hwan Lee] Danal announced on the 16th that its consolidated annual operating profit for last year was 15,957.05 million KRW, an increase of 6.6% compared to the previous year.
During the same period, sales revenue rose 24.4% year-on-year to 285,550.12 million KRW. Net profit for the period increased by 312.7% to 51,212.86 million KRW.
Danal explained the increase in sales revenue was due to "an increase in payment amounts driven by growth in the delivery and online shopping markets, as well as sales growth from the expansion of the credit card payment business."
